Box Score West Palm Beach, Fla. – A two-run home run from Leanne Wright in the fifth inning rallied Lynn University's softball team to a 5-3 series-opening victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Monday night. Wright went 3-for-4 from the plate and drove in three runs while Victoria Rios added two more RBI against the Sailfish.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Francais Olexa set the tone at the top of the order with a 2-for-4 performance while scoring the game's first run. In the circle, the junior southpaw fanned four batters over seven innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on six hits to improve to 9-7.
- Rios would go 1-for-3 with two RBI after a sac fly in the third and a RBI double in the seventh padded Lynn's lead.
- After a three-run fourth gave PBA a 3-2 advantage, Wright put Lynn back on top with a two-run shot in the fifth to cap her night.
- Karolina Flores scored twice (1-for-4) and Mackenzie Wyatt went 2-for-3.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Wright's home run gave her a team-high four on the season and 17 for her career, which ties her for seventh in program history.
