St. Petersburg, Fla. – Lynn University's second-ranked women's tennis team kicked off a busy weekend of Sunshine State Conference action on the road Friday afternoon, dominating the Eckerd Tritons, 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn started off the day strong in doubles competition, winning the top two flights 8-1 and the No. 3 match, 8-0.
- The domination carried over into singles action as the Fighting Knights won all six matches in straight sets without losing more than two games in any contest.
- Grace Mpassy (No. 1), Rosalie Willig (No. 3), Stefanie Stemmer (No. 4) and Carolina Cuevas (No. 6) all blanked their opponents, 6-0, 6-0.
- Diana Bogolii notched a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 2 and Martina Gledacheva was victorious at No. 5, 6-1, 6-0.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Lynn has won four of its five SSC matches so far this season by a 9-0 score.
- The Fighting Knights have three league matches this weekend.
