Early Deficit Leads to First Lacrosse Defeat

Box Score

Wingate, N.C. – An early 5-0 deficit plus a season-high in turnovers proved detrimental for the 12th-ranked Lynn University lacrosse team on Tuesday afternoon as the Fighting Knights were handed their first loss of the 2017 season, 11-6, at Wingate University. Lynn started to make a push late in the fourth quarter but strong goalkeeping from the home squad prevented the Blue and White comeback.
