Bradenton, Fla. – Lynn University's second-ranked and second-seeded women's tennis team produced another dominant 5-0 victory in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament on Friday, dropping the 25th-ranked and third-seeded Florida Southern Mocs to clinch a spot in tomorrow's final with hopes of a title defense.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn cruised through the second and third doubles flights but had to battle it out at the top position for a pairs sweep.
- Grace Mpassy and Diana Bogolii wasted little time with an 8-0 win at No. 2. Martina Gledacheva and Tereza Hejlova followed up with an 8-3 triumph at No. 3.
- Rosalie Willig and Stefanie Stemmer found themselves down 4-3 at the top doubles spot but rebounded for an 8-5 victory.
- Gledacheva was the first Fighting Knight to close out in singles action, taking the No. 5 match, 6-2, 6-0.
- Stemmer finished shortly after at No. 4, 6-1, 6-3, clinching the match and securing a spot in the finals for Lynn.
- Mpassy, Willig, Bogolii and Hejlova were all up a set in their respective singles bouts.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Fighting Knights are defending SSC Tournament Champions, defeating Barry last year, 5-3.
- Lynn finds undefeated Barry in tomorrow's championship in a title rematch. Lynn's only loss in 2017 was to the Bucs.
