Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. – An offensive onslaught to the tune of seven goals powered the Lynn University women's soccer team to a 7-0 victory over Concordia (N.Y.) in a non-conference battle at Bobby Campbell Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Six different Fighting Knights tallied goals in the contest en route to the squad's first win of the year.
- Loreana Lonigro opened the scoring less than 10 minutes into the contest, scoring Lynn's first goal of the season.
- Gabriela Moriera led the attack with two goals and one assist, scoring back-to-back markers for the Fighting Knights in the 33rd and 47th minutes.
- Emily Weisberg and Valentina Pedretti registered goals just 32 seconds apart in the 54th minute to push the Blue and White's lead to 5-0.
- Donish Cole and Brittney Benedict tallied the final two goals for Lynn, striking in the 57th and 59th minutes, respectively.
- Four different players tallied at least one goal and one assist for Lynn.
- Alexa Downie stopped the only shot she faced to pick up the win and her seventh career shutout.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The victory marked the first time the Fighting Knights have scored seven goals in a contest since Sept. 12, 2004, in a win over the University of North Alabama.
- Seven goals is the largest margin of victory for the team since 2001 when the Blue and White downed Saint Leo 9-1.
- Moriera, Benedict and Pedretti's scores were each the first of their respective careers at Lynn.
