Box Score Daytona Beach, Fla. – Lynn University's volleyball team took down Embry-Riddle 3-2 in a five-set marathon on Friday night in Sunshine State Conference play. Junior outside hitter Sonja Udovcic recorded the most kills by a Fighting Knight in over 17 years while the team's 117 digs are the most in a match in over 20 years.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Udovcic reached her career-high 31 kills at heavy volume, logging 77 attempts for a .273 hitting clip. She rounded out a double-double with 23 digs.
- Fellow outside Rafaela Fonseca also logged a double-double with 18 kills and 18 digs. She also served two of the team's four service aces on the night.
- Setters Biatriz Souza Berti and Isadora Nicolai rounded out Lynn's quartet of double-doubles. Souza Berti produced 26 assists with a career-high 25 digs while Nicolai registered 32 assists with 11 digs.
- Paige Fullerton contributed 11 kills and five blocks; she had two solo stuffs and three block assists.
- At the libero spot, Olivia La Plume totaled 15 digs and four assists while Marine Kinna added 10 digs, four kills and an ace.
- Lynn led Embry-Riddle in every major category: kills (72-58), assists (69-54), digs (117-101), blocks (9-7) and total attempts (223-210).
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Udovcic's 31 kills are tied for the third-most all-time in any match in program history and are the most since Fernanda Campos logged 33 on Nov. 3, 2001. Udovcic's 77 attack attempts are also tied for the third-most all-time in any match in program history and are the most since Camila Lins swung 79 times on Sept. 12, 2008.
- Udovcic is the 10th player in all of NCAA DII this season to record more than 30 kills in a match.
- Lynn finished with 117 digs as a team, marking the fourth-most ever in any match in program history and the most since Sept. 23, 1997.
