Valdosta, Ga. – Lynn University's top-ranked women's tennis team went on the road for this first time this season on Saturday, posting a strong 9-0 win over No. 25 Valdosta St. in a South Region matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn set the tone for the day with strong doubles play.
- Klaudia Boczova and Diana Bogolii continue to roll at the top flight with an 8-3 win on Saturday.
- Natalie Kallmunzerova and Eliska Petrackova notched an 8-2 win at No. 2 while Eleonora Liga and Federica Mordegan were victorious at No. 3, 8-1.
- Lynn took all six singles matches in straight sets to secure the sweep.
- Boczova got things started with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at the top singles flight.
- Bogolli was pulled from the lineup as Kallmunzerova moved up to No. 2 and battled in a second-set tiebreaker (6-1, 7-6 (7-4)).
- Liga, Mordegan and Petrackova all won 6-1, 6-1 at the three, four and five spots, respectively.
- Anastacia Parkin entered the lineup at No. 6, blanking her opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Lynn has now beaten Valdosta St. each of the past four seasons. Today was the first matchup where the Blazers weren't nationally ranked.
