Winter Park, Fla. – Lynn University's fourth-ranked women's tennis team wrapped up the 2018 regular-season slate on Saturday with a 7-2 Sunshine State Conference road victory at 21st-ranked Rollins College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Despite a close battle at the top flight, the Fighting Knights swept doubles competition.
- Eleonora Liga and Federica Mordegan started off the scoring with an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles.
- Diana Bogolii and Natalie Kallmunzerova followed up with an 8-4 victory at the second flight.
- At No. 1 doubles, Lynn's newly crowned nationally top-ranked doubles squad of Klaudia Boczova and Eliska Petrackova snuck past 17th-ranked Fabiana Vitanza and Alexandra Borg, 9-7.
- In singles, Lynn secured straight-set wins in four matches to bring home the win.
- Boczova had another dominant performance at the top flight, winning 6-0, 6-0.
- Kallmunzerova, Petrackova and Liga each surrendered three games or less in their straight-set triumphs at the four, five and six positions, respectively.
- Rollins won in three sets at No. 2 and via retirement at No. 3.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- With a 9-1 league record on the season, the Blue and White have locked up the No. 2 seed in next week's SSC Tournament.
- Boczova won 6-0, 6-0 at the top singles flight for the fifth time this season.
- Lynn now has eight wins on the year vs. opponents ranked inside the top 25 nationally.
