STATS OF THE GAME:

• The first half was an exciting one, with each team getting on the scoreboard and creating many opportunities that didn't end up in the back of the net.
• Florida Southern got on the board first when Elena Brkic scored in the 16th minute.
• The Fighting Knights bounced right back when Dorthea Glorud scored her first goal of the season. Emma Nuutinen was credited with her first assist of the year on the goal.
• In the second half, the Mocs retook the lead in the 49th minute on a Tatum Albrecht goal. 
• The rest of the half saw Lynn create numerous opportunities, but fail to put the ball in the net. In all the Fighting Knights attempted 13 shots in the second half, but the goalkeeping of Florida Southern's Jenny Staten prevented Lynn from tying the game. Staten ended the game with nine saves.
• The Mocs added an insurance goal in the 76th minute to go up 3-1. There would be no more scoring after that.
• Lynn's Sofia Manner ended the game with four saves.
• Nuutinen and Matilda Larsson each recorded three shots on goal to lead the way for the Fighting Knights.
