Box Score Boca Raton, Florida - In a rematch of a game earlier in the season, the Fighting Knights took down conference-rival Nova Southeastern 3-1 on Wednesday night to pick up their first conference win of the season.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- It was a physical back and forth first half between the Fighting Knights and the Sharks. Despite the even play, the Fighting Knights had all the scoring opportunities in the period. Lynn went into the break with five shots and two on target, but both were turned away by Nova Southeastern goalkeeper Shannon Hearty.
- The second half was a different story as Lynn exploded out of the locker room and scored two goals in the first seven minutes of the half.
- Anniina Sankoh got the scoring started when she put a Savannah Jackson pass in the back of the net in the 50th minute.
- It didn't take long for the Fighting Knights to strike again, as in the 52nd minute, Sawyer Hall scored her first goal of the season off of a corner kick by Addison Crone.
- In the 81st minute, Sankoh managed to secure her second goal of the game by accurately placing the ball in the top corner of the net. It was her 10th goal of the season.
- With just 30 seconds remaining, the Sharks managed to get on the board and end Lynn's hopes of a clean sheet.
- Lynn put up a total of 21 shots, compared to Nova's 11. Sankoh and Emma Nuutinen each put up four shots and two on goal.
- Sofia Manner recorded six saves, all of which came in the second half.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Sankoh continues her incredible pace to start the season, keeping her average right at two goals per game. Not only does she lead the SSC in the category, but she also leads the nation by .4 goals per game. She's also ranked first in the country in total goals (10). She leads the SSC in points (20) and points per game (4).
- Jackson's assist kept her tied atop the SSC rankings in total assists (4) and alone at the top of assists per game (.800).
- When Lynn and Nova Southeastern faced off earlier in the season, they played to a 1-1 tie.
