BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Tech scored the game's only goal with just over six minutes left in the second half to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Lynn University, Wednesday at Bobby Campbell Stadium.
The loss drops the Fighting Knights to 3-6 overall and 1-4 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both teams attempted nine shots, but the Panthers held a 6-2 lead in shots on goal
- Florida Tech attempted just three shots in the second half and scored on their final attempt
- Marem Ndiongue found the back of the net on a header off a free kick following a foul on Lynn at 83:57
- Lynn had several chances in the second half to take the lead prior to the Panthers' goal
