MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Lynn University women's basketball team defeated Limestone 72-56 on the second day of the Barry University Invitational, Saturday. The win is the third-straight for the Fighting Knights as they move to 5-1 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn used a strong second half to secure the win as The Fighting Knights outscored Limestone (3-3) 46-28 over the final 20 minutes
- The Fighting Knights shot 49.1 percent from the field
- Lynn held decisive leads in bench points (42-19) and points in the paint (24-14)
- Limestone led by as many as seven points in the first quarter
- Lynn tied the contest three times in the second quarter and trailed 30-26 at halftime
- The Saints increased their lead to seven early in the third quarter before Lynn rebounded by outscoring Limestone 26-6 over the final 8:58 of the third quarter
- Graduate student
Meghan Cramb connected on two three-pointers in the middle of the third frame to help Lynn take the lead for good
- Cramb finished with four three-pointers in the third quarter

Makayla Hemingway opened the fourth with a three-pointer for a 55-39 lead

Loie Webb converted a traditional three-point play at 7:25 for a 21-point cushion, 63-42
- Webb later assisted Cramb's final three-pointer of the afternoon as Lynn again led by 21, 72-51 with 3:16 showing
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Cramb finished the game with a career-best 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting and 6-of-12 on three-pointers
