BOCA RATON, Fla. – Sophomore
Kennedi Philson scored 20 points and graduate student
Meghan Cramb added another 15 to help Lynn to a dominating 84-60 win over Florida Tech in Sunshine State Conference action, Saturday.
Lynn pushed its overall record to 6-2 and improved its league record to 1-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn rolled to a 47-23 lead at halftime behind a 54.1 shooting percentage
- The Fighting Knights finished the game 35-of-65 from the floor (53.8%)
- The Fighting Knights connected on 20 baskets in the opening 20 minutes and handed out 15 assists
- Defensively, Lynn forced 19 Florida Tech turnovers and turned those miscues into 26 points
- With the score 14-10, Lynn scored six-consecutive points over a three-minute stretch to lead by 10 late in the first quarter
- Lynn scored the first six points in the second quarter to lead by 15, 27-12

Danielle Montelbano hit a layup at 4:08 in the second frame as the Fighting Knights led 37-17
- With just under a minute to play in the opening half, Cramb hit a three-pointer to lead 45-20

Rachel Romich hit a layup 2:24 into the third quarter for a 27-point cushion 54-27
- In the fourth, Cramb hit another three-pointer as the Fighting Knight lead was once again 27, 73-46
- Philson made the final basket with 36 seconds left to set the final at 84-60
FIGHTING KNIGHTS STATS:
- Philson led all players with 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds
- Cramb finished with 15 points behind four three-pointers and two assists
