Box Score 2 Cocoa, Florida – Coming off of a 9-1 win, the Fighting Knights played their fourth game in two days. After an early lead in the first game, the Fighting Knights eventually lost both games at the Florida Tech Invitational to Wingate and Bentley.

Game 2 Final: Bentley 13 Lynn 7

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1):
- In the top of the first inning, Janelle Dominguez continued her hot start to the season. Her SSC leading fourth home run put the Fighting Knights ahead early on a solo shot to left field.
- In the bottom of the third, the Bulldogs tied the game on a single and gained momentum going forward.
- The Bulldogs took the lead in the bottom of the fourth off of an RBI single and an error to go up 3-1.
- In the top of the seventh, the Fighting Knights had two on from a Dominguez and Danielle Pasquariello single; but were not able to cash in.
- Dominguez went 2-3 with a homerun.
- Aryana Galioto went 1-2, while Taylor Scala and Pasquariello both went 1-3.
- Faith Miller recorded her first loss on the season after starting 3-0, tied for first in the SSC. She pitched 3.1 innings with three runs allowed on four hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2):
- In the first inning, the Falcons got off to an early lead with an RBI double to go up 2-0.
- In the bottom of the second, Monique Poitevin got the Fighting Knights within one. She hit a double to left-center and scored after a sac-fly and a wild pitch.
- Bentley extended their lead in the third after a five-run inning to go up 7-1.
- In the bottom of the inning, Madison Prickett hit a two-run home run. Her hit scored her and Mia Veliz who hit a single to start the inning. Bentley up 7-3.
- After the Falcons added two more runs, in the bottom of the fourth Lynn scored another run. A bases-loaded walk to Dominguez scored Brittney Davis who singled earlier in the inning.
- In the fifth inning, the Falcons added three more runs, but Lynn went on to add three of their own.
- Josey Sumpter started the inning with a double and advanced to third on the throw.
- Poitevin recorded an RBI single driving in Sumpter to start Lynn's inning.
- With one out in the inning and down 12-5, Karlie Sweiderk hit a two-run homer to put the Fighting Knights within three.
- In the last two innings, the Falcons added one more run to secure a 13-7 win for Bentley.
- Veliz went 2-4 with a run.
- Sumpter finished 2-2 with a run.
- Poitevin went 2-4 with an RBI and two runs.
- Sweiderk went 1-2 with a two-run bomb.
- Davis went 1-3 with a run and Morgan Simpson went 2-2.
- Prickett batted 1-2 with 2 RBIs, but got the loss after 3.2 IP, 10 hits, nine earned runs, and five strikeouts.
