Box Score 2 Boca Raton, Florida – After losing both games of the Florida Tech Invitational, the Fighting Knights came out in dominating fashion this Wednesday Afternoon. Commanding performances by pitching in both games combined with stellar hitting proved to be the winning formula for the Fighting Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1):
- In the top of the first inning, Faith Miller got the game started for the Fighting Knights, striking out the side to record three of her first five Ks of the game.
- After a Mia Veliz single and stolen base, a sac-fly by Janelle Dominguez would start the lead for the Fighting Knights 1-0.
- Keiser tied up the game in the top of the third after a single and a hit down the left-field line.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Fighting Knights again took the lead.
- Brittney Davis singled to start the inning and later scored after Morgan Simpson reached on an error.
- Monique Poitevin who reached on a fielder's choice scored the second run of the inning after Taylor Scala singled to third.
- Simpson became the third run of the inning when she and Scala pulled off the double steal, Simpson stealing home and putting Lynn ahead 4-1.
- In the top of the sixth, Keiser again scored, this time on a sac-fly, trailing 4-2.
- The Fighting Knights, however, stopped any chance of a comeback and piled on four more runs.
- Scala recorded another RBI on a single, driving in Poitevin who singled earlier in the inning.
- Scala scored the second run of the inning after Destiny Torres reached on an error.
- Dominguez added two more RBI after a double drove in Torres and Veliz to go up 8-4.
- Miller tallied her fourth win on the season (tied for first in the SSC), striking out five while giving up three hits and a run in five innings. Her 20 Ks also rank fourth in the SSC.
- Scala went 2-3 with a run and two RBIs.
- Davis went 2-3 with two runs.
- Dominguez went 1-3 with three RBIs, tying her for second in the SSC and owning second in slug %.
- Veliz and Poitevin both went 1-2 with two runs.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2):
- After a quick first two innings, the Fighting Knights got the scoring going in the bottom of the third.
- After singles from both Aryana Galioto and Scala, a sac-fly from Veliz scored Galioto to go up 1-0.
- On the next at-bat, a sac-bunt from Karlie Sweiderk drove in Scala to extend the lead 2-0.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Fighting Knights recorded their third and final run. Galioto drove in Danielle Pasquariello who walked earlier in the inning.
- In the top of the seventh, Madison Prickett finished her complete-game shutout with two Ks.
- She finished with six Ks in seven innings with one hit and three walks for her first win of the season. Her six strikeouts bring her to 18 on the season ranked fifth just behind teammate Miller.
- Sweiderk went 1-2 with an RBI.
- Galioto went 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
- Veliz also recorded an RBI.
- Pasquariello finished 1-2 with a walk and run scored.
- As a team hitting, the Fighting Knights combined for zero strikeouts.
