HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lynn didn't lose a single set as they cruised to victory over St. Thomas.
- They picked up the doubles point by winning by a combined score of 18-3. In first doubles, the duo of Giorgia Pigato and Zofia Podbiol defeated their opponents 6-2. In second doubles, the team of Barbora Cibakova and Jacqueline Wagner won by a score of 6-1. Eliska Petrackova and Irina Lapustina closed it out with a 6-0 shutout victory.
- The Fighting Knights took that momentum into singles where they continued to dominate.
- Podbiol won first singles by a score of 6-1, 6-0.
- Pigato picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win in second singles.
- Wagner played the closest matchup of all the singles matches. In third singles, she defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-2.
- Due to Lynn already having the match victory secured, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles all only played one set.
- Cibakova and Lapustina each won 8-2, while Petrackova secured the shutout with an 8-1 win.
