HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles, the Fighting Knights didn't lose a single game, as their three teams defeated Eckerd by a combined 18-3. The second doubles team of Diego Gonzalez and Lucca Baptista finished first, then the third doubles duo of Ryan Neal and Nicolas Cabrerra secured the doubles point. The first and final doubles duo of Will Kirkman and Ignacio Martinez would win in a superior fashion.
- National No. 29, Baptista earned Lynn their first point of the match by winning 6-1, 6-0 in third singles.
- Martinez would win in a battle for the second point of the match for Lynn 6-4, 6-3.
- Gonzalez would lose to national No.28 Pierre-Olivier Lassalle in a battle 6-3, 6-4.
- Gianmarco Amatiste would win secure the win for the Fighting Knights with ease 6-0, 6-0.
- Rayane Alami would win the sixth and final single of the day for Lynn 6-3, 6-3.
