HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lynn dropped the doubles point for the first time this season. Both their third doubles and first doubles teams lost 6-2, which left the second doubles match unfinished.
- Looking to even things up in singles, the Fighting Knights faced off against two nationally-ranked opponents.
- The first match to end was fourth singles, with Gianmarco Amatiste falling 6-3, 6-1.
- National No. 32 Lucca Baptista picked up Lynn's first point of the match after he won third singles by a score of 6-4, 6-1.
- However, the Blazers were able to get back on track when national No. 9 Luca Mack defeated Diego Gonzalez 6-3, 6-3 in first singles.
- The Blazers would clinch the match behind a fifth singles victory over the Fighting Knights' Rayane Alami.
- The remaining two matches were left unfinished, though national No. 44 Ignacio Martinez had won the first set over No. 55 Rodrigo Carvalho in second singles.
