Boca Raton, Florida - After a tough series vs Barry, the Fighting Knights are back home for their series against the Sharks.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the first inning, the Sharks took the lead on an RBI single off of Madison Prickett.
• The Fighting Knights only needed the bottom of the first to tie it up. After Taylor Scala walked, Aymee Godmaire drove her in on an RBI groundout.
• The Sharks would extend their lead in the top of the second, putting up four runs to go up 5-1.
• Faith Miller came in for Prickett, recording a strikeout in the third.
• The Sharks put up two more runs on three hits in the top of fourth.
• In the top of the sixth, Josey Sumpter came in for the Fighting Knights. 
• Nova put up one run in each of the last two innings and won 9-1.
• Scala went 1-2 with a run.
• Godmaire went 0-3 with an RBI.
• Karlie Sweiderk went 1-2.
• Janelle Dominguez and Lexi Butler both went 1-3.
• Prickett pitched 1.2 innings for Lynn and recorded the loss. She gave up four earned runs on four hits.
• Miller gave up one earned run on five hits in her 3.1 innings. She also tallied a K.
• Sumpter in two innings allowed two earned runs on three hits.
