HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1):
- In the first inning, the Tars scored their first run on an RBI double.
- They extended their lead to 4-0 after a 3-run home run in the top of the third.
- In the top of the sixth, the Tars added two more runs on an RBI single.
- The Tars scored their final run on an RBI single in the top of the seventh to win 7-0.
- Taylor Scala went 1-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2):
- Aymee Godmaire hit a double for the Fighting Knights in the bottom of the second inning, but she could not get driven home.
- In the bottom of the fourth, Bailey Fernandez hit a single to get the Fighting Knights on base. Godmaire added another hit for Lynn, but inning would end 0-0.
- The Tars got on the board in the top of the fifth scoring two runs on four hits. A two-run home run in the sixth and a solo home run put the Tars ahead further.
- In the bottom of the seventh, Destiny Torres reached first on a fielders choice and Lexi Butler singled, but the game ended 5-0 with two on base.
- Godmaire went 2-2 with a walk.
- Butler and Fernandez went 1-3.
- Scala went 1-4.
- Madison Prickett pitched six innings giving up five runs on nine hits while striking out five.
