HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fighting Knights took a very competitive doubles point behind strong performances from all three of their teams. Lucca Baptista and Diego Gonzalez won first doubles 6-4, then Nicolas Cabrera and Ryan Neale came back to take victory in third doubles by a score of 7-6 (7-2). Will Kirkman and Ignacio Martinez were tied 6-6, but the match was abandoned after the doubles point was secured.
- In second singles, Baptista gave Lynn a 2-0 lead after his opponent retired with the Baptista up 6-1, 4-1.
- Martinez won third singles in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2, to give Lynn a 3-0 lead, and put them just one point away from clinching the match.
- Gonzalez would wrap up the match for the Fighting Knights, winning 6-2, 6-4 over his opponent.
- Gianmarco Amatiste would win fifth singles 6-2, 6-2 to put Lynn up 5-0.
- Fourth and sixth singles would not be completed since Lynn had already wrapped up the match.

The Fighting Knights will head to Orlando for a neutral site matchup against national No. 24 Wingate University. The match will take place on Tuesday, Mar. 8 at 3 p.m.
