HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1):
- The Florida Southern got ahead early on the Fighting Knights, going up 3-0 in the first inning.
- In the bottom of the first, after Aymee Godmaire reached on an error, Janelle Dominguez drove her in on an RBI single to right field. Lynn trailing 3-1.
- Florida Southen put up two more runs in the fourth and two more in the seventh to win 7-1.
- Dominguez went 3-3 with an RBI.
- Monique Poitevin and Morgan Simpson went 1-2.
- Godmaire had a walk and a run.
- Haley Fardanesh got the loss in her .2IP. She allowed three runs on three hits.
- Josey Sumpter who came in relief gave up four runs on nine hits in her 6.1IP.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2):
- This time the Fighting Knights scored first. In the first inning, after Aryana Galioto singled and stole second, a single from Godmaire drove in Galioto for a 1-0 lead.
- Lynn extended their lead in the bottom of the fifth. After Simpson singled and stole second, Galioto then walked and pulled off the double steal with Simpson to go up 2-0.
- Later in the inning, an RBI single to left field from Dominguez drove in Galioto for a 3-0 lead and the eventual win.
- Godmaire went 2-3 with an RBI.
- Galioto went 1-2 with two runs and an RBI. She also had two steals.
- Dominguez went 1-3 with an RBI.
- Simpson went 1-2 with a run. She had two steals as well.
- Faith Miller who pitched the complete game shut out, only gave up two hits in her seven innings. Her CG shutout earned her, her team-leading seventh win.
