HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fighting Knights dropped the doubles point when Saint Leo took the first and second doubles matches. Irina Lapustina and Barbora Cibakova were able to win third doubles 6-4.
- In singles, Zofia Podbiol fell 6-0, 6-1 in second singles to the 25th-ranked player in the nation.
- Jacqueline Wagner picked up a set in first singles, but she ultimately fell in three sets to national No. 33, Marta Vicens Miquel.
- Karyna Bihel would drop fourth singles in straight sets, which allowed the Lions to wrap up the match.
- No. 29 Giorgia Pigato won third singles 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 to give Lynn their first point of the day.
- Cibakova won in straight sets to give Lynn their second point.
- In sixth singles, Lapustina lost to the No. 52 player in the nation.
