Bradenton, Florida - The Fighting Knights fell 4-2 to the Embry-Riddle Eagles to finish fourth at the Sunshine State Conference Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Will Kirkman and Ignacio Martinez won first doubles 6-2. Lucca Baptista and Diego Gonzalez followed it up with a 6-2 win of their own to secure the doubles point for the Fighting Knights.
- The Eagles picked up their first point in sixth singles, then took a 3-1 lead by winning both first and third singles.
- Baptista battled to a three-set victory over Alexis Guedy in second singles. He won the match 5-7, 6-0, 6-2.
- The Eagles wrapped up the victory when Lukas Schnieder defeated Lynn's Gabriele Felline in three sets.
- Third singles would remain unfinished, with Martinez leading 7-6 (7-4), 3-6 (6-8), 5-2.
UP NEXT
The Fighting Knights will wait to hear their name called for the NCAA South Region Championships. If they are chosen, they would begin play in early May.
