  • The Tars picked up their first point of the match when Jacqueline Wagner fell in straight sets in first singles.
  • Lynn got back on track with wins from Karyna Bihel in fourth singles and Lapustina in sixth.
  • Cibakova sealed the deal by winning fifth singles 6-4, 6-4.
  • Podbiol lost a three-set thriller in second singles.
  • Pigato picked up Lynn's fifth point, winning a very tough point in third singles. She won 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (7-3).
