Daytona Beach, Florida - Coming off of a win vs Florida National, the Fighting Knights faced Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach. After a tough first game, the Fighting Knights played hard till the end in a back and fourth loss in the second game.

Game 2 Final: Embry-Riddle 7 Lynn 5

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1):

• The Eagles scored first to start the day off early on in the first inning to go up 1-0.
• Monique Poitevin for the Fighting Knights tied it up for Lynn on a solo home run to left field in the top of the second.
• In the bottom of the second inning, the Eagles took the lead back on an RBI single and double. Eagles leading 3-1.
• The Eagles put up four more runs in the bottom of the fifth and one more in the sixth to win 9-1.
• Poitevin went 1-3 with an RBI and a run on her solo home run.
• Taylor Scala went 2-3. She also had a stolen base.
• Madison Prickett had the loss for Lynn in her 4.1IP. She allowed four earned runs on seven hits. She also had two Ks.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2):

• The first inning ended with no runs, but Faith Miller recorded her first strikeout of five.
• This time the Fighting Knights would score first. A two run home run from Janelle Dominguez drove in herself and Aymee Godmaire who was hit by pitch in the top of the fourth. Dominguez's home run is her SSC leading eigth home run of the season.
• Later on in the inning, Danielle Pasquariello hit an RBI single. She drove in Miller who was hit by pitch earlier. Lynn leading 3-0.
• An RBI double from the Eagles would put them within two.
• The Fighting Knights extended their lead to 4-1 after Poitevin's RBI single drove in Dominguez.
• Embry-Riddle took the lead in the bottom of the fifth after a couple of RBI doubles and an error. The Eagles leading 5-4.
• In the top of the sixth, after Pasquariello walked, Aryana Galioto pinch ran for her and stole a couple of bases and scored on an error to tie the game at five.
• The Eagles would secure their win in the bottom of the sixth. They added two more runs and won 7-5.
• Dominguez went 1-4 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored.
• Poitevin went 1-4 with an RBI.
• Pasquariello went 1-2 with an RBI.
• Galioto and Miller both had one run. Galioto added two swiped bags.
• Miller allowed three earned runs on seven hits in her 4.1IP. She also had five Ks.
• Josey Sumpter who came in for Miller in the fifth got the loss. In her 1.2IP she allowed two earned runs on two hits. She had one strikeout.
