HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fighting Knights lost a thrilling doubles point. After West Alabama took second doubles, the third doubles pair of Barbora Cibakova and Giorgia Pigato won 6-3 to even things up at one. In first doubles, the No. 6 pair of Karyna Bihel and Jacqueline Wagner battled against the No. 11 pair in the country, but ultimately fell 7-6 (7-4) to give the Tigers the first point of the match.
- Bihel lost fourth singles in straight sets, which gave West Alabama a 2-0 lead.
- In third singles, Zofia Podbiol fell in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, to put West Alabama one point away from clinching victory.
- Eliska Petrackove fell in straight sets in sixth singles to. The loss gave West Alabama the 4-0 win.

This ends the 2021-22 women's tennis season. The Fighting Knights will be back in action in the Fall.
