BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn Fighting Knights and the Nova Southeastern Sharks battled through a rainy and soaked Bobby Campbell Stadium on Wednesday evening after rain blanketed the area for much of the day. The Sharks eventually emerged with a 3-0 win following two goals in the opening half.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Michael Lawrence scored in the 17
th minute and again just over three minutes later to give Nova Southeastern a 2-0 cushion inside the first 20 minutes of action
- Nova added its third and final goal just 1:04 after halftime when Lawrence found Aleks Berg for a 3-0 advantage
- The Fighting Knights turned up the pressure following the third goal as junior
Jose Pineiro fired two shots and graduate student
Moritz Lusch added one that forced Shark keeper Michael Steckmest to make diving saves
- In the game's closing minutes, Lynn junior
Hanno Wachernig forced another save from Steckmest on a shot from the left side as the game ended at 3-0

Luca Clavero played the final 37:39 in net and notched three saves
