Katja Orschmann connected for the game's only goal as the Lynn women's soccer team shutout Barry, 1-0, Wednesday.
The victory ended a three-game losing skid for the Fighting Knights and pushed their record to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barry outshot Lynn 12-7 and the Fighting Knights mustered just three shots on goal, but they took full advantage of those three attempts
- After being held without a shot in the opening half, Bradby and Orschmann connected on Lynn's first shot of the game for a goal at 53:47
- Orschmann passed a ball into the middle to Bradby, who dribbled to her left and took a bending shot with her left foot from outside the 18 that hit the net on the left side past a diving Barry keeper
- Lynn took two shots late in the second half that forced Barry keeper Emily Parrott to make two more saves to keep the scored at 1-0
