SAINT LEO, Fla. - Graduate student
Lucija Kostic delivered a big block late in the game and Lynn University rallied from a one-point deficit with just over two minutes to go for a 78-71 win over Saint Leo, Saturday afternoon.

The win moves the Fighting Knights overall record to 12-4, while currently sitting at 5-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
- Lynn shot 50.9 percent (28-of-55) from the field, 37.5 percent (6-of-16) from beyond the arc and 69.6 percent (16-of-23) from the free throw line.Â
- This is the eighth game the Fighting Knights have shot over 50% from the field.Â

Ella Fiore tied the game with 05:44 left in the first quarter following a tough layup in traffic

Marianna Klavina made it a 16-16 game late in the first quarterÂ
- Klavina opened the second quarter with a basket to tie the game at 18 and fellow graduate
Meghan Cramb knocked down a three-pointer at 5:18 to hand the Fighting Knights a 23-22 lead. It was the first lead for the Fighting Knights since late in the first quarter

Makayla Hemingway closed out the first half with a buzzer beating three to give Lynn a 30-29 lead at halftime
- Back-to-back field goals for Fiore early in the third helped the Knights jump to a 34-29 lead

Jada Marone helped the Fighting Knights stretch their lead to 10 following a layup with 2:42 to play in the third quarter
- The Tigers cut their deficit to six to finish the third quarter
- Cramb hit a three-pointer at 8:22 and Marone made a layup at 6:19 as Lynn led by eight with 6:19 showing
- A 9-2 run by Saint Leo tied the game at 67-67 with 3:48 to play
- Fiore hit a layup with 3:37 showing (69-67) and Lynn never trailed again
- With 1:37 left in the fourth quarter, Kostic blocked a game-tying layup and Lynn made 6-of-7 free throws down the stretch for the victory

- Monroe excelled off the bench, scoring 20 points in only 22 minutes … also adding two reboundsÂ
- Cramb scored 17 points with three three-pointers and a 6-of-6 effort from the free throw line.Â
