Aline Olegario and graduate
Samantha Wolf totaled 25 kills to power Lynn University to a 3-0 sweep of Saint Leo, Saturday in SSC action. The Fighting Knights snapped a two-game skid with the win and improve to 13-6 overall and 7-4 in the league.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights won 25-20, 25-22, 25-17
- Lynn hit .217 with 42 kills and limited the Lions to 38 kills and a .129 hitting percentage
- While the final score was 3-0, the stats were much closer as Lynn held slim advantages in aces (2-1), blocks (6-5), assists (34-33) and digs (62-60)
- The visitors trailed 13-12 in the opening set and rallied for a 19-16 lead behind a 5-1 run

Kenidy Howard each posted a kill as Lynn closed the first set on 5-2 run for a 25-20 victory
- Lynn jumped out to leads of 3-0, 5-2 and 11-3 in set two
- Olegario smacked three kills over the middle of the set as Lynn's lead ballooned to 15-6
- The Lions pulled to within two points before an error and kill from Howard sealed a 25-22 win
- Two kills each from Olegario and Wolf gave the Fighting Knights a 5-1 cushion and they never trailed in the third set
- Lynn used a 7-1 scoring spurt for a 21-10 lead as Saint Leo committed six errors during the outburst

Dayana Chara smacked a kill for a 23-14 cushion and two Lion errors gave Lynn a 25-17 win
