TAMPA, Fla. – The 15
th ranked Lynn men's soccer team settled for a 2-2 draw against Tampa, Saturday night. The Fighting Knights scored two unanswered goals to take the lead before allowing the tying marker in the 81
st minute. Lynn is now 7-2-4 overall and 2-2-4 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Spartans scored less than three minutes into the match on a shot by Pablo Marquez
- After each team exchanged shots over the next 20 minutes, Lynn tied the match
- Graduate student
Luis Kiefer took a pass from senior
Patrick O'Halloran and buried it for the equalizer
- Lynn held a 7-3 edge in shots heading into the half, including posting five shots on goal
- The Fighting Knights' attack led to a corner kick less than three minutes into the second half

Kymani King for a goal to the right of the Tampa keeper to give Lynn a 2-1 lead in the 64

- O'Halloran (88:16) and Kiefer (89:45) each posted shots over the final few minutes as the match ended in a 2-2 draw
