BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's soccer team dropped its matchup on Wednesday evening, losing 3-1 to Rollins. The Fighting Knights were led by an impressive goal from senior
Brigitta Pulins and assist from
Francesca Brito in the Sunshine State Conference loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rollins jumped out to an early 0-1 lead after Cooper put the ball in the back of the net in the 4th minute.
- K'la Barnes-Blackwood put a shot on target in the 16th minute, but it was saved by the Tars' keeper.
- Rollins' lead was doubled by Ryland in the 20th minute.
- Barnes-Blackwood had another shot on target that was saved in the 25th minute.

Brooke Auth came up big with a jumping save in the 43rd minute, keeping the deficit at two going into halftime.
- Auth opened the second half with another save, this time in the bottom left.
- The Fighting Knights kept the pressure on the Tars, with
Evelin Dapprich and
Saga Jontoft putting shots on frame in the 72nd and 74th minutes, respectively.
- Lynn cut the deficit in half after Brito played a perfect pass from half field that put Pulins one-on-one with the keeper, and Pulins put the ball in the net in the 79th minute.
- Rollins was given a penalty in the 81st minute, and the lead was extended to 1-3 after Park scored from the spot.
STATS OF THE MATCH
- The goal was Pulins' second of her Lynn career.
- Brito picked up her first assist as a Fighting Knight after 22 matches.
