BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn men's soccer team came away with their third draw of the season on Saturday night in a 0-0 match against Eckerd. The Fighting Knights dominated possession time and outshot their opponent 16-2 but neither team was able to score. Coach Rootes' fifth ranked squad is not 6-1-3 overall and 1-1-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Graduate student
Luis Kiefer took the only two shots of the first 20 minutes, with his second shot at 19:52 on target
- Kiefer's second start started a barrage of Fighting Knights shots, as they attempted six over a 10-minute stretch
- Freshman
Oskar Dahlberg had two headers just miss the net prior to the end of the first half
- Lynn attempted nine shots in the first half, while Eckerd did not attempt a shot
- Kiefer attempted Lynn's third shot of the second half at 63:55, the first on goal in the second frame

Roman Hartleb had a shot on goal at 66:36 that was saved by the Tritons goalie

Luca Clavero made a save on a free kick just outside of the 18 at 85:59
- The Fighting Knights closed the game with more chances as the game ended in a 0-0 tie
- Lynn had a 70% possession total while the ball was in their offensive half of the field for 72% of the match
- The Fightings Knights had a season-high 15 corner kicks in the draw
- Clavero now has 6 shutouts this season
- Kiefer led all players with 4 shots and 3 shots on goal

Fabian Vyhnalek and Dahlberg each had 3 shots
