MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Lynn University women's basketball team won its second matchup of the season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Christian Brothers, 80-57. The Fighting Knights were led by a 16-point performance from freshman
Trinity Mocadlo and a 15-point, 4-rebound and 4-assist output from senior
Ella Fiore in the final game of the Gulf South/Sunshine State Crossover. Mocadlo and Fiore dominated the game with efficiency, combining for 31 points on 92.3% from the field (12-of-13).

- Lynn jumped out to an early 9-7 lead with graduate

- Stroemel and Fiore opened the second quarter with five-consecutive points after a CBU basket
- The Bucs regained some momentum, but baskets from junior
Makayla Hemingway, Fiore and Mocadlo kept Lynn in front, 28-19, with just under five minutes remaining in the first half
- CBU lowered its deficit to six points before graduate student
Bella Sparaco went on a 3-0 run of her own, giving Lynn a 33-22 cushion
- After a 4-0 run from the Bucs, Lynn went into the halftime break leading 33-26

Marianna Klavina caught fire, hitting back-to-back three-pointers to extend the Fighting Knights' lead to 43-29
