BOCA RATON, Fla. – Six different Lynn University men's lacrosse players scored on Monday evening as the Fighting Knights suffered a 15-6 loss to No. 3 Adelphi. Lynn falls to 0-2 on the season, while Adelphi is now 2-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Panthers outshot the Fighting Knights 40-25
- Adelphi was a perfect 16-of-16 on clears while Lynn finished at 21-of-23
- Lynn controlled the "X" for much of the evening winning 14-of-25 faceoffs
- The two schools traded goals in the first quarter as graduate
Stephen Becker (12:59) and senior
Joseph Michalski (5:56) scored to tie the game at 2-2
- Adelphi then posted a 7-0 scoring run that lasted until 12:10 in the third as the visitors led 9-2
- Sophomore Dylan Cooper scored with 5:30 left in the third to end the run and narrow Lynn's deficit to 9-3
- The Panthers scored three-straight goals for a 12-3 advantage in the fourth

Jalen Stanton scored back-to-back goals at 10:25 and again at 9:37 to pull Lynn to within 12-5
- Sophomore
Tyler Van Wart scored with 2:13 left in the game but Adelphi added three more goals for a 15-6 win
- Jack Hipchen led the Panthers with four goals
