BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn swept both games of a doubleheader with Miami Dade by scores of 8-2 and 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. Morgan Simpson collected three hits in game one, while Madison Prickett pitched a complete game in game two.  

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1): 
- The Sharks jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Naomi Suzuki's single in the top of the first inning 
- Lynn tied the game in the bottom half of the inning when Aryana Galioto drove in Morgan Simpson with a single and Galioto later stole home as part of a double steal with Aymee Godmaire 
- The Fighting Knights took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the second after Simpson's single drove home Olivia Lovins and Galioto singled home Taylor Scala 
- In the bottom of the fifth, Galioto scored on a wild pitch, Josey Sumpter hit an RBI double and later scored on Adriana Otero's single to extend Lynn's lead to 7-2 
- Miami Dade led off the top of the fifth and the top of the sixth with a double but relief pitcher Faith Miller got out of each inning unscathed  
- Simpson scored the final run of the game after hitting a single, stealing second and later scoring on a Godmaire sacrifice  

FIGHTING KNIGHTS STATS (Game 1): 
- Simpson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored an RBI and two stolen bases 
- Galioto went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and two steals 
- T. Scala scored her a run and added two stolen bases 
- Sumpter went 1-for-2 with a double, run scored and an RBI 
- Godmaire went 1-for-2 with a run, RBI and a walk  
- Faith Miller tossed three scoreless innings in relief 

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2): 
- Starting pitcher Madison Prickett struck out the final two batters of the top of the second to keep the game scoreless 
- Lynn hit three doubles and scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning 
- Miller led off with a single, Lovins doubled home Miller, Prickett doubled home Lovins and T. Scala knocked in Prickett with a double 
- Prickett fanned two batters in both the fourth and fifth innings to keep Lynn's lead at 4-0 
- The Sharks cut the Lynn lead in half on a Maya Wall two-run single in the top of the sixth 
- Prickett struck out the first two batters of the seventh inning but Miami Dade put the tying runner on after a single and an error 
- A foul out ended the game with the final score, 4-2, in favor of the Fighting Knights 

FIGHTING KNIGHTS STATS (Game 2): 
- Prickett's pitching line: CG, 7 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 5 BB, 9 K 
- T. Scala went 2-for-3 with a double, run, RBI and a steal 
- Galioto went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases 
- Lovins and Prickett each had a double, run scored and an RBI  
- Maya Reinhart went 1-for-1 in each game of the doubleheader
