BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 13
th-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team rallied to defeat No. 4 West Alabama, 4-2, Sunday at the Perper Tennis Complex. The Fighting Knights improve to 12-3 this season and the loss is the first for the Tigers as they settle at 16-1.

- West Alabama opened with a quick 1-0 lead after winning both the first and second doubles flights

Giorgia Pigato and junior
Barbora Cibakova won the third flight, 6-2, over Heden Ly and Hardija Vidnere
- The Fighting Knights rallied for the win by winning the first, second, fourth and sixth singles flights

Salma Djoubri earned the win at No. 1 singles over No. 38 ranked Haina Franco, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4
- Djoubri, ranked 25
th in the nation, is now 11-2 this season in singles action

Greta Schieroni defeated No. 68 ranked Yurie Takanishi in the second singles flight with a 1-6, 6-0, 6-3, come-from-behind win
- She is now 8-2 in singles, including a 5-2 mark at No. 2
- Pigato and Cibakova closed out the match with wins in the fourth and sixth flights
- Pigato took down Vidnere at No. 4, 6-1, 6-3, while Cibakova beat Irawan Deewajee at No. 6, 6-4, 6-0
- Pigato is 9-3 in singles, while Cibakova is 2-0
