VALDOSTA, Ga. – The sixth-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team picked up its fourth-straight win Friday with a 4-0 shutout of No. 22 ranked West Florida at Valdosta State University. The victory is also the third consecutive 4-0 shutout for the Fighting Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn captured two doubles matches to quickly grab a 1-0 lead
- The freshmen duo Salma Djoubri and Kristen Younes posted a 6-0 shutout of Jenna Svatos and Luiza Daud in the second flight. They are now 3-0 at No. 2 doubles this spring
- Senior Giorgia Pigato and freshman Dolores Molina were victorious in the third doubles flight, 6-4, over Mayumi Saguchi and Nathalla Mossambani
- Sophomores Greta Schieroni and Zofia Podboil had their match at No. 1 doubles cut short with a 5-4 lead
- The Fighting Knights closed out the match by winning the first, third and fifth singles flights
- Djoubri pushed her record to 6-0 on the spring with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Saguchi  in the top flight
- Younes picked up a 6-1, 7-5 win over Midori in No. 3 singles
- Podbiol captured her first singles win of the spring with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the fifth flight over Svatos
