DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Junior
Luke Sweatman posted a runner-up finish and set a school record to highlight the Lynn University men's and women's track team's results at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic, Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sweatman posted second place in the 1,500-meter run with a school record time of 3:54.67
- Freshman
Paul Mosley qualified for the finals in the both 100 and 200-meter dashes
- He finished in sixth in the 200 preliminaries at 22.06 and was eighth in the 100 at 10.79
- Junior
Collin Clark finished in 11
th in the 200 prelims in 22.16
- Sophomore
Makayla Lewis posted 12
th in the 100 prelims (13.03) and 13
th in the 200 prelims (26.97)
- Graduate student
Deike Schipper was 20
th in the 100 prelims at 14.12 and 22
nd in the 200 in 28.68
- In the 200 prelims, junior
Lily Koch was 19
th (28.36), graduate
Emma Campbell was 24
th (28.97) and senior
Donya Dreibelbis was 25
