BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn softball team swept a doubleheader against Florida National, 4-1 and 4-0, Wednesday afternoon.
Madison Prickett pitched a complete game and struck out a season-high nine batters in game one, while three Fighting Knight pitchers combined for a shutout in game two.
Lynn improves to 21-25 overall and has reached the 20-win plateau for the first time since 2018.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1):

Olivia Lovins hit a two-run single, scoring Sumpter and

Aymee Godmaire's single in the fifth inning to put Lynn ahead, 4-0

Taylor Scala drove in Buzzell with a single in the next at bat
- T. Scala then stole second and was later driven home on Simpson's single to make it a 4-0 game
