Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The 14^th-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team collected a 6-1 win over Eckerd in Sunshine State Conference action, Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn collected two wins in doubles action in the first and third flights
- Diego Gonzalez and Gianmarco Amatiste defeated Esteve Augusti and Batu Ataseven, 6-4, in the top flight. The duo is now 12-3 overall on the season
- Nicolas Cabrera and Aron Stajszczak captured a win at No. 3 doubles, 6-1, over Arik Suez and Eric Asakura
- It was their first doubles win of the season
- The Fighting Knights took home wins in the first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth singles flights
- Gonzalez defeated Ataseven, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 1 singles for his 12^th win
- Yaron Guberman took No. 3 singles over Christian Kearns, 7-5, 6-2 for his 12^th win of the spring
- Amatiste won the fourth flight with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Asakura for his 12^th win
- Ray Chavez posted scores of 6-1, 6-2 against Sam Walker in the fifth flight for his 11^th victory of the spring
- Haktan Garayev captured a win in the sixth flight over Phil Grueninger, 6-0, 6-2. He now has six wins this season UP NEXT:
