BOCA RATON, Fla. – Starting pitcher
Drew Dwyer allowed just one run over seven innings of work, but Florida Southern scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat Lynn, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon.
The Fighting Knights are now 14-19-1 overall and 5-13 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Mocs got on the board first in the top of the second after Connor Berry doubled and later scored on a sac fly

Deric LaMontagne had a two-out RBI single that scored
David Judge to tie the game, 1-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning
- Lynn took a 2-1 lead in the seventh after
AJ Orrico hit sac fly that scored

- Florida Southern took the lead in the top of the ninth when Berry led off the inning with a walk, scored on Jeff Liquori's triple and Liquori later scored on Sean Riley's base hit

John Rodriguez singled in the ninth, advance to second on a wild pitch, but was unable to be driven in as the Mocs won, 3-2
