BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn starting pitcher
Drew Dwyer struck out seven batters over a season-high eight innings of work in a 5-3 loss to Eckerd, Friday afternoon. The Fighting Knights erased a three-run deficit but the Tritons scored a run in the eighth and ninth innings to secure the road win.
With two games left in the regular season, Lynn is now 16-28-1 overall and 7-21 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Tritons scored an unearned run on a sac fly in the top of the first
- Four Eckerd singles led to two runs in the top of the fourth to give the visitors a 3-0 lead
- Lynn scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game

David Judge then drove home Orrico and Paulino with a line-drive double down the left field line
- Eckerd broke the tie on Kyle Ericson's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning
- The Tritons scored the final run of the game in the top of the ninth inning on a balk for a 5-3 final
