HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fighting Knights took the lead in the fifth minute on a stunning goal from Merchant. From 30 yards out, Merchant put it onto her left foot and fired a shot into the top left corner past the PBA keeper.
- Lynn's lead was doubled on another remarkable goal at the 12th minute. After a free kick was deflected, the ball fell to Molina just outside the 18-yard box, and the sophomore buried the shot into the top of the net.
- Just after subbing into the game, Palm Beach Atlantic's Sydney Timmes scored, making it 2-1 in the 21st minute.
- In the 38th minute, freshman defender
Isabella Battista put a shot on frame on a corner kick, but it was saved by the Sailfish keeper.
- Before the end of the half, Lynn keeper
Brooke Auth saved a pair of shots to help the Fighting Knights go into halftime with a 2-1 advantage.
- The Sailfish started off the second half with the same momentum, forcing Auth to save two more shots in the first three minutes.
- PBA kept its foot on the gas, putting a pair of shots on frame that were saved by Auth in the 62nd minute.

Gabriella Lecuona took the first shot of the half for Lynn, but it drifted wide of the frame.
- Auth was busy once again, saving a pair of shots in the 72nd and 83rd minutes.
- In the 84th minute, PBA's Michelle O'Driscoll put the ball in the net, tying the game 2-2.
- The Fighting Knights had one final chance with a corner kick in the 90th minute, but failed to score, securing a 2-2 draw on the road trip.

- Both Merchant and Molina scored their first collegiate goals in tonight's match.
- Auth's 8 saves are a season-high for the freshman keeper.
