MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference has announced its weekly award winners and Lynn University senior Patrick O'Halloran has been selected as the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
The Taunton, England native starred in Lynn's 2-2 draw at Nova Southeastern on Sept. 20. The Fighting Knights were down 2-0 at the half, but O'Halloran scored twice to help his team earn a point in their SSC opener. In a 0-0 draw with Florida Southern on Sept. 23, O'Halloran led all Lynn players with 3 shots and 2 shots on goal. O'Halloran has Lynn's last three scores and is tied with freshman Oskar Dahlberg for the team lead in goals this season.
The No. 10 Fighting Knights are 5-0-2 this season and host Florida Tech on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 pm.
