BOCA RATON, Fla. – Graduate student
Tradavis Thompson scored a game-high 23 points to help power Lynn University to a 76-64 win over visiting Florida Tech in men's basketball action, Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Knights are now 11-4 overall and 6-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn shot 48.4 percent (30-of-62) from the floor and never trailed in the contest
- With the game tied at 8 at 14:20, sophomore
Nordin Kapic knocked down two free throws for a lead Lynn held for the remainder of the afternoon

Ben Gahlert connected on a three for a 19-13 lead with 11:21 showing
- Thompson connected on three-straight baskets as part of an 11-0 run for a 30-18 cushion

Jalen Gilmore hit a jumper at 1:35 for a 38-23 lead
- Lynn led 38-27 at halftime
- Thompson opened the second with a bucket, Ballard hit a three-pointer and Kapic converted a traditional three-point play as Lynn snared a 53-32 advantage
- The Panthers used the next 10 minutes to slowly pull back into the game as it trimmed its deficit to 64-56 with 4:24 to play
- Gahlert converted a traditional three-point play and Thompson added two late free throws all inside the final minute for the win
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Thompson shot 10-of-17 (58.8%) with five assists
- Kapic added 16 points and seven rebounds
- Gahlert contributed 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists
- Gilmore and Ballard each scored eight
