BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory over Rollins in Sunshine State Conference play, Saturday evening.
Anton Mand and
Luan Barroso Rennstich scored the goals to turn around a 1-0 deficit.
Lynn improves to 9-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn started the game with a shot from
Fabio Menzel off a corner kick in the opening minute
- Rollins scored the opening goal in the 4th minute
- The Fighting Knights played constant pressure which resulted in three shots on goal until the 12th minute mark
- Lynn was awarded with a corner kick in the 13th minute that was delivered by
Luan Barroso Rennstich
- The ball bounced to the edge of the area where
Anton Mand was at the end of a deflected shot from
Fabian Vyhnalek
- Mand struck the ball midair at close range of the goalkeeper, Jabari Gray, and found the back of the net
- Minutes later
Max Lambertz played a through ball to Barroso Rennstich on the right side of the penalty area
- Barroso Rennstich took a touch and hit a low-driven shot that found the far-left corner of the net, 2-1, with 18:51 on the clock

Luca Clavero saved two shots on goal late in the first half to keep the lead before the break
- Lynn ended the second half with seven shots, totaling 18 for the game
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Mand made his 10th start with the Fighting Knights and scored his second goal of the season
- Barroso Rennstich scored his fifth goal for Lynn

Lucas Vila and Vyhnalek both had four shots on the night
- Lynn remain the best defensive team in the SSC with seven goals against
- The Fighting Knights are averaging 19.5 shots over their last four contests and are outshooting their opponents 162-61 this season
