BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn University women's soccer finalized their contest against Embry-Riddle in a 0-0 tie during a mid-week Sunshine State Conference match, Wednesday night. Sophomore
Brooke Auth secured the shutout with five saves in net. Lynn is now 2-3-2 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Eagles had two early chances to kick off the game
- Senior defender
Saga Jontoft took the first shot for Lynn 23:57 into the first half
- Embry-Riddle controlled possession for the first 20 minutes
- The Fighting Knights demonstrated more control and pressure heading into the half

K'La Barnes-Blackwood opened the second half with a shot that went just wide

Kiana Rhee-Osorio had a free kick from about 25 yards out, but it just went over the crossbar with 53:41 on the board

- Auth tallied five saves and now has 23 total saves this year
- Auth posted her third shutout this season
- Lynn had eight total shots in the game, including six shots in the second half
