TAMPA, Fla. – Sophomore keeper
Brooke Auth made five saves to help the Lynn University women's soccer team earn a 0-0 draw with No. 6 Tampa, Saturday evening. The Fighting Knights are now 2-3-3 overall on the season and 0-1-3 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn outshot Tampa, 8-7, but the hosts held a 5-4 edge in shots on goal
- Tampa held a 4-1 advantage in shots in the opening 45 minutes
- In the 31
st minute, Auth saved a shot that was headed for the bottom right corner of the net
- Just over eight minutes later Auth notched another save, this time a shot at the top center of the net

Kira Adkins attempted Lynn's only shot of the first half at 33:10, but it was wide of the net
- Auth made a low save in the 53rd minute to open the second half
- At 56:09, freshman
Juliana Torres had a low shot turned away by Spartan keeper Aidan Smith
- Auth made another save at 58:51 and Torres had another low shot saved at 60:11
- Auth's final save of the evening came on an attempt that was sailing towards the top left corner of the net in the 70
th minute

Isabella Battista had a hard shot saved at 75:09, while both Torres and junior
Emma Geiges had shots turned away by Smith inside the final five minutes of action
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Torres powered Lynn with three shots, all on target
- Auth now has 28 saves on the season and is ranked third in the SSC
- Auth is tied for second in the SSC with three shutouts
